Attending were Charlie Boas, Don Kassebaum, Keith Sterzing, Mark Thomas, George Wyche and Bo Zimmerman.
Though small, the Milwood Library is easy to get to and to park at. It lacks a phone in the capacity 10 study room, but until membership gets up to 10 it will not be a problem.
Keith and I related our visit with Wells Fargo to change over the bank account to Keith, the new treasurer. We decided to have one other person able to sign on the account, the president, Charlie. We took Nadine, George and Don off the account. The account owes George a fair chunk and Charlie owes the account a small chunk. George expressed willingness to leave enough of what he is owed to keep the account with sufficient funds to avoid a monthly service charge.
Keith brought his Amiga3000 and we installed the Classact version of the Miami interface. We ran the initMiami to the point where a phone line was required.
The second part of the meeting was devoted to hashing out proposed changes to the CTACS Bylaws in an effort to reduce its bulk and correct it to reflect current practice. Bo produced a several paragraph reduction of the bylaws for an overview. One additional change was agreed upon by consensus. Bo will modify the document and present it at the March meeting for approval.
After the meeting everyone reconvened at Conan's Pizza on Burnet Rd and talked about Bo's Commodore computer collection and recent additions thereto, the soon to be Amiga OS4, peripherals for an AmigaOne computer, Amiga emulators, merits of various CPUs, job situations, car evaluations. Bo and Dong bounced suggestions for a program for the March meeting around, but came to no firm idea. Charlie and Keith will not be able to attend the March meeting. We left about 10pm.
