CTACS June 18, 2002 Milwood Library

Attending: Don Kassebaum, Chris Holcombe, Keith Sterzing, Bo Zimmerman and George Wyche. Keith's two adopted kids were here, too.

I arrived late, A1200 in tow, to find Keith's computer scattered around the far end of the table. The complaint was that the Canon BJC8200 had quit. We both had some trouble getting the our systems all laid out and booted up. Don missed last month because he was up northeast with his son. He's out of a job again and interested in anyone who knows of a lead.

The A1200 kept Sergei and Tatiana busy with Boulder Dash, while we reviewed the printer setup. In the end we decided the automatic feed or cabling was the culprit, because after a series of stepped tests, the thing worked.

Next we tried to put Execellence! on it from Bo's CD. When it came down to a "Load hunk error" we started over trying to put it on the A1200. After a false start or two about just what the installation script was doing, the same error was received.

Bo and Keith couldn't make the PigSIG, but Charlie Boas and his son Chris had faith that we'd pick Conan's at Burnet@Anderson and met us there. Don had a slice of Chris' and my Savage. The Boas's attacked their own pizza. I offered Chris Boas some of my anchovies, but he declined. Charlie was in very good spirits because the Pioneer Farms has hired him full time. He and my wife have been part time out there since early last fall. Don related his work woes and Chris Holcombe could sympathize since more than one of his children are in the same boat.
