Prez. Charles Boas, John Harron, Keith Sterzing and George Wyche were on hand for a presentation of a comparison of the MorphOS|Genesi Co. and the AmigaOS4.0|EyeTech Inc. offerings to the public.

In a nutshell MorphOS is a result of disparate pieces of software that has been grown in the vacuum of AmigaInc. (and predecessors). MorphOS attempts to please all PowerPC accellerators and the new motherboard made by the Genesi Company. By far and away the best thing that can be said is that it is out there for purchase right NOW.

AmigaOS4.0 is still be worked on by around 50 programmers and is still months from release. It will be released and will do the things outlined in a thick document for all to see. EyeTech Inc. has, as of the meeting, just begun to have PPC based mother boards for the public that have been blessed by Amiga Inc. as meeting the ZICO standard.

Questions were still be fielded when the clock struck 8pm and most of us moved the meeting to Conan's Pizza for dinner, beer and more computer related conversation.
