See the middle picture for those attending: Across the back are Charlie Boas, John Hautzenroeder, Don Kassebaum, Bo Zimmerman, Rodney McNeel. In the 2nd row are Keith Sterzing and Roger Clark. George Wyche did the recording.
A confluence of separate threads brought this many members together. This is John Hautzenroeder's last meeting with us as he has been transferred to Sugarland, TX. With his children gone from home and his wife's recent recovery from serious illness, this change is not all that unwelcome.
The McNeels have moved to a home with 2.5 acres that is further south. Rodney was already our southernmost member. Rodney is thinning his Amiga herd and came (taking time from work) to deliver some of it.
Roger Clark's special expertise with YAM and Keith Sterzing's assurance that he'd bring his A3000 was the main activity of the evening. Usually Roger is preparing to go to work, but made a special effort to attend.
Just as the meeting was ending, Roger found the explanation for Keith's YAM failure and cured it all by copying the MUI related files in the YAM directory to the directory that is first found by User-startup. Library reference problems solved. The misleading error messages be damned.
We had no time to appreciate Bo Zimmerman's new pride, a C-One. See a c-one web reference for more detail. Bo will show us more next month.
Most of us went to Conan's for supper at 8:30pm, just missing the "all - you - can - eat" buffet. A pitcher of Shiner and a Conan's Savage kept me happy until we broke up at 10pm. Don's still looking for a job.
