Alex Bartonek came up from San Antonio to show us the Genesi offering in the Amiga ring, Pegasos. Alex showed the machine taking nearly everything we could find in the way of old Amiga software and having it run on the Pegasos.
In attendance were Alex Bartonek, Charlie Boas, Don Kassebaum, Keith Sterzing and George Wyche. This meeting was held at the Conan's Pizza because none of us caught the notice on the Library meeting room door last August informing us that we had to renew our request for that room right then. Therefore we showed up in October to meet and were run off. George went over to Conan's and asked if we could have electricity and space and were welcomed. So that is what we did... after waiting around until about 7pm for others to show up. I had the impression that S.Folberg and B.Zimmerman would show, but they did not so we moved on over to Conan's....
and immediately bought food and drink, then settled in for the demo.
Alex encouraged us to check out www.MorphZone.org for lots more information about the latest drivers and software compatability lists. His system came with PegXLin, Feeble Files (on 2 CDs), and lots of applications and games from the Super Bundle.

This computer and OS are ready to go right now, running old and new Amiga programs, and at a price that is 2/3 of the AmigaOne (which doesn't even have an OS yet). So, if you are tired of holding your breath...
We kept Alex late and he had a long ride back to San Antonio ahead of him.
