CTACS general meeting for October 20, 2008

Its not often we present a program of 6 separate items, but George came prepared. He had to fidgit with the old timey Envision CRT monitor. Heck, it must be 4 years old now... and it required a slap up along side the head to come into view. George thanked Chris for the suggestion. The new $100+ OS4.1 is all installed and working (mostly well: one game required a resolution that hadn't been "authorized"). The Radeon 9250 graphics card's compositing function was shown off thanks to Hans-Joerg Frieden. George spent the last 2 week ends working on aiding someone named Cecilia who is an ImageFX expert but doesn't own an AmigaOne. Charlie, did I mention that George's audience was Charlie & Chris?, looked over the Amiga Future. Then George and Charlie went over the price, availability and feature list of the Sam440 which *IS* brand new hardware that is OS4.1 capable. It was the center piece at the AmiWest show just concluded in Sacramento, CA. Well, all the items got touched on, but none deeply. Wish you'd been there.
