Attending were Charlie and Kathleen Boas, George and Carol Wyche, and Mark Thomas.
The 1st photo is where it all starts.
I ordered a small, deep dish, Savage... cut nothing! and a glass of Shiner. Carol brought a gluten free sandwich from the Thunderbird Subway next door. I also produced the 2 promised Amiga Future mags.
Alas, your photographer's was too lazy to readjust the camera to ignore the bright exterior. As I have mentioned this camera's flash action seems to happen when the shutter has just closed. Anyway, the result is dark images brightened by Edgar Swann's port of the GIMP on my X1000. I do what I can. Mark has offered to part with his old camera, but.. for 2 photos a month? Maybe for 2015.
We talked about many things over the 6:30-8 meeting. Mark talked about the logistics of Austin traffic while getting Jenny to and from summer programs. Both Mark and Woo-young now have jobs, so switching off with one another makes them feel like their is a lot of life on the road.
A young Conan's patron approached Kathleen asking how Sarah (their grown daughter) was getting on. Kathleen demured, "Sorry, I don't remember your name?". "Mandy, we worked here together." So there was catch up talk, followed by texting to Sarah (afore forgetting).
A good part of our talk was about current trends supporting the coming planet sharing with robots with AI. Some (always some, eh?) suggest this will be apparent by 2040. Let's see, 2040-1946 = 94. Don't think I see this issue as a problem.
