Attending were Bo Zimmerman, John Herron, Chris Boas, Charlie Boas, Mark Thomas, David Williams, Keith Sterzing, Alex Bartonek and his two children, Damien and Esmia, and George Wyche.
Mark and Woo Young are expecting a baby girl before the next meeting so those of us who are parents threw in our two cents.
After a massive amount of pizza having been consumed, Alex showed us his cute, little Efika which he put into his custom box. You can just make it out under his left wrist. We also got to see some of the improvements in Morph OS2.1 (and one dis-improvement in that the sound fails.. a much lamented and soon to be fixed thing). Alex put it through the paces and it looked good to us.
The BIG event was the dissemination of "Things Amiga" which we all went over.
I had absolutely no intention of walking away with anything since I
have an AmigaOne and AmigaOS4.0. However...
then I saw that ImageFX, in various revisions, both in software and
in print, was scattered throughout.
It felt like a bargain basement free-for-all at opening. Scrabble, scrabble.
When the dust cleared, Alex's load had been reduced by about half. That's commentable, since only Bo and John have functioning Classic Amiga boxes. Those 2 guys already have most of what they want to collect, so it was all kind of surprising.
All of that and we still were homeward bound before 9pm.
