That center piece there is IBM Thinkpad hardware brought by Joe Teakell, Director of Web Applications and Systems for Temple College.Temple, TX, with yet another AROS installation that ALSO refuses to create any audio.
We played with it, but this is our only experience with this Amiga offshoot. Joe is attempting to find a user friendly OS that is zero cost for installation of free (or very low cost) laptops for his students.
Keith told of his travails with the medical industry and his loss of most (but not all) of his Achilles tendon.
There was discussion of moving our meeting day. There was a reminder that annual reinstating of the current officers was upon us AND that people give some thought to where we might have our Christmas party.
We broke up shortly after 8pm.
